We've been using ambleside in our home for 5 years now。 It was my first true introduction into Charlotte Mason after reading For the Children's Sake。 Ambleside has given me the gift of wanting to dive further into my own education of the Charlotte Mason method。 While we change books when needed， AO has given so much to our homeschool。 This book felt like meeting dear friends and helped me understand more about AO。 I loved reading it。 We've been using ambleside in our home for 5 years now。 It was my first true introduction into Charlotte Mason after reading For the Children's Sake。 Ambleside has given me the gift of wanting to dive further into my own education of the Charlotte Mason method。 While we change books when needed， AO has given so much to our homeschool。 This book felt like meeting dear friends and helped me understand more about AO。 I loved reading it。 。。。more

First of all， I’ll repeat， I wasn’t prepared to cry this much。 Second， I loved hearing about all the history—also， the AO camp meeting。 I still grieve that I couldn’t make it due to my appendix rupturing and all that followed。 Thirdly， CPQ has a different mission and purpose， but this friendship I read about kept reminding me of Cara and Sarah。 We have cried together and prayed for each other。 We have also worked through criticism together （but we won’t talk about that 🙃—I appreciated hearing ho First of all， I’ll repeat， I wasn’t prepared to cry this much。 Second， I loved hearing about all the history—also， the AO camp meeting。 I still grieve that I couldn’t make it due to my appendix rupturing and all that followed。 Thirdly， CPQ has a different mission and purpose， but this friendship I read about kept reminding me of Cara and Sarah。 We have cried together and prayed for each other。 We have also worked through criticism together （but we won’t talk about that 🙃—I appreciated hearing how they dealt with that， or didn’t）。 But we are big idea people， and so we’re always sifting through projects and ideas and wanting to encourage mommas in this philosophy。 I read this and “got it。” It is a special thing。 It’s a privilege to get a peek inside it。I have nothing but love and respect for these ladies and the work they have done。This was fun to read。 。。。more
